Bespoke 2U Homecare - Redefining the "conveyor belt" model of homecare support

Revolutionising Domiciliary Care: Join Bespoke 2U Homecare as a Care Ambassador

Date posted: March 24, 2026

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour

At Bespoke 2U Homecare Ltd, we are on a mission to challenge the “conveyor belt” model of home support. We believe that community care should be as unique as the individuals receiving it. Driven by the lived experience of our Managing Director — a stroke survivor who understands the profound impact of patient, kind, and reablement-focused support—we are implementing a People-First Agenda across Leicestershire.

We are seeking mission-driven individuals to join our team as Care Ambassadors. This is not just a care role; it is a commitment to empowering independence and enhancing the quality of life for our local community.

The Bespoke Difference:

  • Reablement Focus: We move away from “doing for” our clients to “supporting with,” helping individuals retain vital daily living skills.
  • Social Connectivity: We prioritise cognitive and emotional health by facilitating community access, visits to loved ones, and places of worship.
  • Continuity of Care: We match our Ambassadors with clients to build genuine professional bonds, ensuring reliable and personal support.

Duties and Responsibilities

You are required to perform your duties with the highest level of understanding, dignity, and respect, following their individual bespoke care plans and risk assessments. Your core responsibilities include:

  • Empowering Independence: Using a reablement-focused approach to support clients to do things for themselves rather than doing tasks for them, ensuring they retain vital daily living skills.
  • Social & Well-being Support: Reducing social isolation by providing companionship, sit-in calls, and creating tailored home-based activities to enhance cognitive and emotional health.
  • Community Access: Assisting clients to visit loved ones, attend places of worship, and participate in local events or personal appointments.
  • Personal Care with Dignity: Supporting with personal hygiene routines (washing, dressing) in a way that respects the individual’s unique history and heritage.
  • Medication & Practical Assistance: Assisting with medication, collecting prescriptions, and preparing meals and drinks.
  • Domestic Support: Helping with meal preparation and planning in line with their dietary needs, light housekeeping (such as cleaning and laundry) and assisting with grocery shopping to keep the client’s home, meals and supplies exactly as they like it.
  • Effective Record Keeping: Creating and maintaining accurate, detailed and person-centred records of care delivery and our client’s changing needs, health and wellbeing, also reporting any cause for concern to the leadership team. This may involve utilising both paper-based and electronic IT systems for documentation and communication purposes, as well as telephone and email.

What We Offer Our Ambassadors:

✅ Stability: Regular rolling rotas and paid travel time.

✅ Competitive Package: From £12.71 per hour + generous mileage allowance + workplace pension.

✅ Professional Growth: RQF funded qualifications and clear career progression routes overseen by our Registered Manager

✅ Holistic Support: Comprehensive well-being connections, regular welfare checks, and a leadership team that values your work ethic.

✅ Safe Practice: Free Enhanced DBS and all necessary PPE.

Who We Are Looking For: We recruit for character and morals over years of experience. Whether you come from a background in retail, hospitality, customer service; if you have only family caring experience; or simply possess a sincere interest in working with people and a desire to achieve the best outcomes, we want to hear from you!

Coverage: Leicestershire postcodes LE1-LE5, LE8, LE9 & LE16!

Employment Requirements

  • Strong Communication Skills: As a community-based care provider, we are in constant contact with various people on a daily basis, including clients, relatives, medical professionals and different organisations. Due to this, and our regulatory recording requirements, we require strong and effective written and verbal communication skills in English to best support our clients. Additional language skills remain a valuable asset.
  • Right to Work: You must have the legal right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we do not hold a sponsorship licence and we are unable to provide any sponsorships to prospective or current employees.
  • Travel and Transport: You must have the ability to reach client homes independently, whether via your own or public transport (Full UK driving licence and vehicle preferred).
  • Flexible Working: It is an essential requirement of this role to be able to provide weekend availability, whether weekend only / alternate weekends / 1 day every weekend. We provide support to individuals between 7am and 10pm on a daily basis, and as needs progress, we may provide further night-time care and support options, such as sleeping and waking nights, in line with our employees availability. Signed and confirmed availability forms are required as part of the application process.
  • DBS: This role is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check, suitable and satisfactory references, and reference verification.
  • Standards: You must adhere to the Bespoke 2U Code of Conduct and Mission Statement, as well as all internal policies regarding Safeguarding, Medicines Management, and Infection Control.
